Role Summary

We are looking for a driven, passionate, customer-centric sales professional to join Currency and Global Payments (CGP) as a Contractor working remotely. Your primary role includes working with foreign exchange Trade Analysts, other Account Managers, and prospective clients to build relationships and the Olympia Trust Company brand. This role is 95% inside sales and involves a high level of communication regarding client accounts and the current market.

As the ideal candidate, you are independent but fully capable to work within a team environment. You are familiar with inside sales and current trends in this market. You love the rush of closing the deal.

A significant amount of effort, diligence, and initiative is required to properly execute sales. The complexity of clients’ requirements is coupled with the intense competitiveness of the industry necessitates a full commitment to the task at hand. Standards are very high, as most work is presented to clients, and supervision is provided only to the extent that it is required.


Role Responsibilities

  • Upholds the division and Olympia’s reputation and values, while promoting our motto “With Us, It’s Personal” in all interactions with employees, clients, and business associates
  • Remain up to date on all Olympia products, services, legislative requirements
  • Generate new business leads for the team by meeting sales goals and objectives, as well as all required metrics related to the overall customer experience
  • Build strong relationships between Olympia Trust Company and each client
  • Amount of prospecting calls that have been placed
  • Evaluating and analyzing the financial needs of corporate clients, including the development of financial models
  • Supporting transaction structuring and execution efforts, with increasing levels of responsibility and accountability over time
  • Identifying and developing business opportunities with clients
  • Conduct prospecting calls to identify potential clients that meet sales requirements
  • Process transactions accurately and ensuring to include all required documentation
  • Monitor currency markets and keep clients apprised of ongoing developments
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in specified areas
  • Owns the execution of day to day operational activities to maintain effective and efficient customer services

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business, Math, Engineering or Science is required
  • Completion of high school is required
  • 5 -10 years of sales experience is required
  • 3 - 5 years of experience selling derivatives is an asset
  • Proven track record as an effective sales professional in an inside or outside role, with measurable results
  • Treasury management and handling experience is an asset
  • Strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting, and financial theory
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work
  • Knowledge of the Foreign Exchange industry is beneficial

  • A CSI DFOL License is an asset. If not completed, the successful completion of the course will be a condition of employment
  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite skills and Excel including Excel modeling
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of personalities
  • Bilingualism is an asset in addition to English with either French or Spanish
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Background check will be required
