We are looking for a Courier in our Calgary office.

Role Summary

Your primary responsibilities include distributing drafts and cheques to clients. You will be required to pick up documents and packages from Olympia’s office and then deliver them to their final destination, within a specific deadline. If necessary, you may also be required to go to Olympias’ bank to pick up any bank drafts for the clients. For this position, you must maintain standards that meet Olympia Trust Company guidelines.

As the ideal candidate, you are independent but fully capable to work within a team environment. You are detail-oriented and able to thrive in an ever changing fast-paced work culture.


Role Responsibilities

  • Check for special Settlement Instructions on the specific deal prior to going to the client’s location
  • Pick up any bank drafts at Olympia’s bank in order to complete transactions
  • Deliver acquired invoices, drafts or cheques from Olympia to the client’s location
  • Pick up and deliver client payments to Olympia
  • Certify Olympia’s client cheque(s) immediately, as per instructions or get a money order or bank draft
  • Bring required documents back to Olympia’s office
  • Deposit cheques to Olympia’s bank
  • Thorough understanding of the Anti‐Money Laundering (AML) policies and procedures

Experience and Skills

  • Completion of High School is required
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s Licence
  • Clean Driving Record is required – no preventive accident in past 12 months
  • 1-2 years’ of courier experience
  • Consistently meeting deadlines and providing strong customer service to clients
  • Deposited all deals on the day they are delivered or received
  • Ensure that all deliveries and certifications are completed in the order stated
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Background check will be required
