Job Summary
The Learning and Performance Specialist is the subject matter expert for the design, development and deployment of Olympia’s learning and performance programs, process and modules.
This role requires an individual who is collaborative with stakeholders including executives, managers and subject matter experts to develop, deliver and monitor effective learning and performance strategies and programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Uphold the division and Olympia’s reputation and values, while promoting our motto “With Us, It’s Personal” in all interactions with employees, clients, and business associates.
- Drafts, develops and delivers in-house learning programs.
- Designs, develops, delivers and monitors an effective performance program that is deployed through the HRIS – ADP Program.
- Design and implement learning and performance training sessions, workshops and learning opportunities.
- Develop assessment and tracking tools to ensure training has been completed.
- Develop and maintain tracking systems, preparing regular communication progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Flexible to perform various assigned tasks and projects as requested.

Formal education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in learning or general human resources.
- CPHR designation or working towards designation and asset.
- Prior financial services industry experience an asset.
- Post-secondary education in adult learning an asset.
Specialized skills and knowledge
- Proficient in learning management systems and e-learning tools.
- Experience with the ADP performance module or HRIS system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Stays current with educational trends and technologies
- Successful completion of a Criminal Background check is required.
